We are THANKFUL
November News!
Hello Readers!
Where has this fall gone?
This time of year always seems to ramp up in terms of busyness, and November is a good time to intentionally slow down, remember to be thankful, and of course, settle in with a good book. Or twelve.
Tomorrow is release day for MATCHMAKER by Hope Bolinger!
Emerson “Em” sees no problem with her matchmaking business at her Christian college. She successfully helps couples to find their forever spouses, and she can pay off her student debt on the side-despite her best friend Noah’s objections.
But when an unmatchable girl, Harmony, enrolls in her senior year on campus...Em is determined to find a match for her, and prove to Noah that what she does is good and helpful.
Meanwhile, a bitter apartment mate heightens the stakes by enlisting Em in a five-figure bet to see if Em is willing to put herself through what she subjects her clients to. If Em can find a fiancé in two semesters, she’ll win enough money to pay off the rest of her student debt.
With many nods to Jane Austen’s Emma, Matchmaker is a funny and often scathingly satirical look at the world of dating for young adults, especially amongst Christians.
You’ve probably already heard the news, but in case you haven’t, Amanda Wright’s DARKFELL won a Christy Award!
We are EPICALLY proud of Amanda and her book. If you’ve not yet read DARKFELL, we might be biased, but we highly recommend.
His is a life of books and peace...
Until a dying warrior’s touch ignites an ancient magic within his blood.
For years, Thom Darkfell has used his cartography skills to advise Lomair’s king of the country’s shifting borders. A valued academic, Thom is excluded from the military drafts until whispers of dark abominations and mass casualties reach the king’s ears. The resulting conscription thrusts Thom into Lomair’s losing army. A realist, Thom ignores the wild myths circling through the ranks—until a monster’s jaws snap through the folds of reality and crush a man before Thom’s eyes. With his dying breath, the Realm Walker passes an impossible task to Thom.
Hours later, the visions begin. The Creator, a deity Thom knows only from rituals spoken over meals and graves, appears to him while a girl with starlight in her blood calls from beyond the veil.
Armed with a cryptic map, a biscuit-loving tutor, and the brawn of his best friend, Thom sets out to find the star daughter and lock the barrier to bind the dark realm of Zakar.
If he fails, it will be the end of all.
2025 holds one more release for Q&F. On December second, the deliciously whimsical “castle book” by Brittany Eden, MIRRORS, releases to the public!
“A tale almost as old as time that will leave you absolutely enchanted, Eden’s Mirrors takes us on a journey to crumbling castles, dusty libraries, and warm hearths as romance blossoms between two searching souls finding their way home.” -KAITLYN CARTER BROWN, author of Queen of Shifting Sands and King of Star-Cast Skies
Nineteen-year-old Paige Wrenley will do anything to protect her father-even if it means returning to the old castle where her mother died. With their home and her papa’s shop at risk of being foreclosed by the bank, Paige is blackmailed by their landlord, Lenora Hayes, and has a mission to follow rumors of a buried treasure at the abandoned castle, Fairhavens.
Chased by dark memories of a great fire that ruined his family’s ancestral castle, Nolan Hayes has finally returned home to Gabreville to stop his uncle, Declan Hayes, from taking over stewardship of the abandoned castle lands. Up on a mountain in a dark forest, the estate of Fairhavens has long been stewarded by the Hayes family, since the true lords who built the castle disappeared a hundred and fifty years ago. But Nolan is convinced those old lands should belong to someone else, if a true heir to Fairhavens can be found.
Scouring the antique library in the abandoned castle, Paige and Nolan must work together to find an old book called the Oirdera and if the rumors are true, find clues to a buried treasure before the first day of spring. Time is running out and threats from all sides push Paige and Nolan closer to finding the truth at the castle that holds the secrets to both Nolan and Paige’s past, but will uncovering the story of the fire that awful night that changed both their lives be a truth too heavy to bear?
Features of this story:
*A young adult fairytale reimagining of Beauty & The Beast + Red Riding Hood + Snow White
*Swoony, clean romance with only heart-wrenching kisses
*A bookish tribute to libraries, old books, and lore
*Standalone novel within a series of loosely unconnected stories.
Inspired by folklore and fairytales, Mirrors takes us to Loirehall’s neighbor Gabreville, where library lore, stained-glass windows, and mines below the mountain hide lost treasures.

As the only child of business mogul Nigel Foster, Cameron Foster has everything he could want…except a future, thanks to his heart condition. Although he’s determined to cram a lifetime into his final days, his father hovers to make sure no people or viruses harm him.
Hacker Tasha Jenkins hasn’t felt alive since her father was killed. She wants nothing more than to expose the man responsible: Nigel Foster. And when Tasha catches Cameron’s eye at a benefit, she sees the perfect opportunity for revenge.
But the more Tasha digs, the more she realizes Cameron and his dad might be the ones in trouble. Together, Cameron and Tasha must use their hacking skills to uncover the truth about a deadly organ smuggling ring far larger and more sadistic than they anticipated. As lies are exposed and people go missing, Cameron realizes he might be worth more dead than alive. How far should he go to survive? The answer might get them both killed.

Ahhhh! Matchmaker sounds so cute!!! And I was lucky enough to read an early copy of Mirrors. It’s a gorgeous story!!!!
And (of course) I’m super excited about The Donor’s release 😁😁😁
I'm really hoping to come back on the team by the end of Q12026. By then my hand should be healed from surgery. So many exciting things have been happening in Quill & Flame's world and I've been personally lowering my spice intake as it becomes just monotonous. I'm much more interested in romance and the build up to just a kiss. 😘
